The Ofrenda: History, Symbol, Tradition


This Día de los Muertos exhibit explores the rich history and enduring cultural significance of ofrendas, the colorful, symbolic altars created to honor and remember loved ones who have passed. Through vibrant displays and traditional elements like marigolds, candles, photos, and favorite foods, visitors will gain a deeper understanding of how this sacred tradition connects generations and blends Indigenous and Spanish influences.
