Architects of Creativity: Family Day

Come join us to celebrate the opening of Architects of Creativity: From Alden B. Dow to LEGO Bricks!  Whether your family registers to compete in the Family Building Competition, you come for the LEGO brick activities and exhibit, or you vote on your favorite build of the day while enjoying the food truck vendors, there will be something for everyone! See the schedule of events below:

11 AM - 1 PM: Family Building Competition

Spots for the Family Building Competition are limited! To register for one of the 10 slots, click here.

Registration is $40 per team (discounted from $60!) and includes LEGO build supplies (which you get to take home), and the chance to win 4 tickets to Houston Brick Fest with paid paring! This prize is valued at over $150!

11 AM - 2 PM: LEGO Masters Contestants Meet and Greet

Tim Hutchings and Tim Howell, LEGO Masters season 4 duo, will be available for autographs and pictures! Meet them and see their unique builds on display along with the rest of the exhibit!

1 - 3 PM: Community Voting and Activities

The Family Building Competition is not the only family-friendly activity happening today! Come to the museum to see the new exhibit, Architects of Creativity: From Alden B. Dow to LEGO Bricks, participate in an all-ages community build, building activities for children, and cast your vote for your favorite build in the Family Building Competition. Don't forget to purchase lunch from one of the local food trucks outside of the museum!

3:30 PM: Winner Announcement

Competition participants and community members are encouraged to stay for the announcement of the winners of the Family Building Competition!
