Junior Archaeology Camp 2024

During this four day camp, participants will learn about archaeology, the role it plays in history, and speak to professionals in the field! Campers will learn from a variety of hands-on activities and games.

We will have two separate camp times Tuesday - Thursday depending on your child's age. This will allow us to modify activities so that children of all ages have the best experience! Both groups will come together on Friday (the final day) for a special day at the Jackson Plantation Historic Site.

• Ages 6 - 8 will meet from 10 AM - 12 PM at the Lake Jackson Historical Museum Tuesday through Thursday.

UPDATE: Spots for the 6 - 8 session are currently full. We will only use your contact information to reach out if a spot in this session becomes available.

• Ages 9 - 12 will meet from 2 PM - 4 PM at the Lake Jackson Historical Museum Tuesday through Thursday.
• ALL ages will meet from 10 AM - 12 PM at Jackson Plantation Historic Site on our final day, Friday! We are doing this in an effort to keep children out of the heat during the hottest part of the day, as the site is completely outdoors. More details on weather-related concerns to follow.
