About the event

Children are invited to join the Lake Jackson Historical Association at the Lake Jackson Library to learn about the Karankawa Native Americans and their role in history. Afterwards, children will make models of a wigwam, a shelter which could quickly be set up as the Karankawa migrated throughout the region.
