About the event

UPDATE: Due to damage sustained from the hurricane at the Lake Jackson Historical Museum we have changed the location of the event. Educators' Night at the Museum will now be held at the Alden B. Dow Office Museum, one of our other sites. The Alden B. Dow Office Museum is located a block and a half away from the main museum at 101 South Parking Place. The date and time for the event have not changed. See you there!

Join us for an evening of fun and connection over history and refreshments! All educators are invited whether you teach in a public, private, or homeschool setting, or work in administration. You do not have to be in a history-related field to attend! Explore the museum if you haven't had a chance to visit recently, chat with our Youth Education and Programming Coordinator, Jordan Weaver, and learn about our free resources offered to educators!

This event is free to attend, but we do ask that you RSVP so we can better accommodate all guests. Additionally, your RSVP will secure your personalized take-home folder with information on the resources on display during the event and TEKS-aligned lesson plans!
