About the event

Join us for an enticing mid-day history lesson on Thursday, July 21, from 12-1 pm with James Glover on "Two Gentlemen and a Lady – the Whartons of Eagle Island."

A local historian and walking encyclopedia of the 1830s, James Glover will be our debut speaker for our first "Something to Chew On" event.

James is the Site Manager at Stephen F. Austin-Munson Historical County Park and a member of the Brazoria Historical Militia.
