Hands-On History
Hands-on history provides our viewers with a topic pertaining to history or cultures around the world. The presentation is then followed by a craft activity. The crafts shown are selected in accordance with the short history/cultural presentation.

About Lauri
Lauri Cherian is an educator, teaching English as a Second Language and Bilingual Education for over 25 years. She is a Washington State native, but has been transplanted to South Texas for the last 30 years. Lauri has a Master’s degree in Language Acquisition Education from the University of Houston and a Bachelor’s in Bilingual/Bicultural Education from Washington State University. She enjoys acting in Community Theater, singing, playing the piano, travel, and writing. She and her husband Jacob have three adventuresome adult children and a dog named Scout.
